About this plugin

Display TripAdvisor Reviews on Your WordPress Site in Under 2 Minutes.

This lightweight TripAdvisor reviews WordPress plugin downloads your TripAdvisor (Trip Advisor) reviews once and stores them in your WordPress database on your own server. Your site serves those hotel, restaurant, attraction, and tourism reviews locally instead of calling TripAdvisor on every page view — for super fast loading, better performance, and a smoother visitor experience.

Show TripAdvisor reviews on your site with a shortcode or widget. No one really trusts generic testimonials unless they can verify the source. When visitors see your TripAdvisor review slider or review grid, they know the reviews come from a trusted source. Each review can display the TripAdvisor icon for added trust and social proof.

Need reviews from more than one TripAdvisor page? Add multiple TripAdvisor business URLs (hotels, restaurants, attractions, tours, and more), download reviews from each source, and filter templates by location. Badge ratings and totals follow the source you choose.

This is a great way to build customer confidence and boost your SEO. You work hard for your 5-star TripAdvisor reviews — now you can easily display them on your WordPress site in a post, page, or widget.

Here’s a quick video demonstration of adding TripAdvisor reviews in less than 2 minutes!

If you have any sort of travel, hospitality, or tourism business, you know how important TripAdvisor reviews can be. It’s one of the top review sites people use when researching hotels, restaurants, attractions, tours, and tickets. If you have a good rating on TripAdvisor, displaying your best reviews on your website helps prove your reputation comes from an independent source.

Download your reviews manually whenever you want. The Pro version can automatically check for new TripAdvisor reviews on a daily schedule and unlock many more review sites and display options.

Why show TripAdvisor reviews on your site?

Travelers and diners often check TripAdvisor before they book. Featuring real TripAdvisor reviews on your WordPress site builds trust faster than generic testimonials. A TripAdvisor review slider or badge near your booking form, menu, or contact page can improve conversion and reinforce your reputation with social proof from a brand visitors already recognize.

Questions

Are reviews stored on my server?

Yes. After you download reviews from TripAdvisor, they are saved in your WordPress database on your own server. Your site displays those stored reviews locally instead of loading them from TripAdvisor on every page view. Combined with lightweight plugin code, this helps your pages load super fast.

Can I download reviews from multiple TripAdvisor locations?

Yes. On the Get TripAdvisor Reviews page you can add multiple TripAdvisor business URLs and download reviews for each source. In your review template Filter Settings, choose which source to display. This works well for hotels, restaurants, attractions, and multi-location businesses.

How do I find my TripAdvisor URL?

Simply go to TripAdvisor, find your business page, and copy the URL from your browser’s address bar. Paste this into the plugin’s “Get TripAdvisor Reviews” page.

Does this plugin update TripAdvisor reviews automatically?

Not in the free version. You download reviews manually when you want to update them. The Pro version includes a cron job option to automatically check for new TripAdvisor reviews once a day.

Can I display TripAdvisor review photos?

Yes. You can download and display user-added photos from TripAdvisor reviews. Photos can open in a lightbox when clicked.

Can I add a TripAdvisor review badge?

Yes. Each template includes Badge Settings so you can place a summary badge on the left, top, right, or above your reviews. You can also hide the reviews and show only the badge. Average rating and total counts are stored per TripAdvisor source.

Can I hide or edit individual reviews?

Yes. On the Review List page you can hide, edit, or delete reviews. Hidden reviews will not appear in your templates.

Can I filter out low-star reviews?

Yes. You can filter reviews by rating so only the reviews you want to show are displayed.
